Meet the Diesel Wizards; a Big Island family diesel repair shop.
Although we specialize in Ford PowerStrokes, Dodge Cummins, and GMC DuraMax trucks, we’ll fix anything with a diesel, from Peterbilts to Sprinters to farm tractors.
Often we can understand what the problem is just by talking story with you, so book a time to talk with Tim, the head Wizard, on our Calendly page, or email Tim at skipper@oceanpeople dot org.
If you text or email Tim a photo of your VIN at 808-640-nineteen eighty-one, then he can pull up information on your vehicle such as engine size, month and year model, which really helps him. Usually somewhere on the driver’s side door frame.

(Below) Sister Rose works most of the time at JAKL Automotive in Kawaihae, where it gets real hot. Mechanics don’t get any sissy A/C, so they have to stay cool by dressing for the heat.

(Below) Dad (Tim), working at his passion, forging knives and swords. Dad’s been wrenching on diesels since he got his first one in 1975.
